Welcome to the Newly reopened and refurbished Sportsman’s Arms

AWARD WINNING COUPLE TAKE THE HELM AT SPORTMANS ARMS

Following investment from owners Tracy and Ian Williams,Ian and Tracey who also run the award-winning Bickerton Poacher in Bulkeley.

The Sportmans Armsin Tattenhall has reopened, unveiling a brand new look.

The Burwardsley road local has been transformed to a cosy, traditional village pub following a two-week refurbishment.

Andrew Parry and partner Emma Hopwood have been appointed to manage the day-to-day running of the Sportsman's Arms. The couple have extensive experience in the hospitality industry working at establishments in the UK, Greece and France.

The duo will focus on offering customers traditional, locally-sourced home-cooked food. Dishes available from the extensive daily menu include Beer Battered Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas, homemade Steak and Ale Pie, 8oz pave steak and salads. The a la carte menu boasts Sweet Potato, Coconut and Ginger Soup with Chorizo Oil and Pea, Asparagus and Spinach Risotto. Also available will be an afternoon tea menu.

Customers old and new will also be able to enjoy a greater choice of quality cask ales including Thwaites Wainwright, Nutty Black and unique, limited-edition guest ales.

Ian said: "We're delighted to have the backing of Andy and Emma to restore the Sportman's Arms to a traditional village pub. They are hardworking and passionate people and have the talent to make the pub a huge success. They're focused on offering locally sourced, top quality dishes and fine cask ales."
